Hello and welcome to Oak Park Media. I am Jacob, a creative located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am a Media Producer for Kirkwood Community College and the Founder and Media Mentor of Oak Park Media. Oak Park Media serves as my creative outlet where I work on all sorts of fun and creative things.

I have been in the creative space professionally since 2012, but my interest in production started long before that. Growing up, I had a passion for putting stuff together. From legos to live sound, I have always loved to take it to the next level. When I was younger, my church put on a play and each year I would add more lighting and sound cameras and anything else I could do to take my small Lutheran sanctuary and turn it into a performing arts theater. It was awesome!

Since then, I have filmed countless interviews, worked on a documentary, took photos for a golf magazine, filmed a few music videos, ran sound for live events, and a lot more.
